17 Today you have obtained the Lord's agreement: to be your God; and for you to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, and his ordinances, and to obey him.

so that I come again to my father's house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God,


The king stood in his place and made a covenant before the Lord, to follow the Lord, keeping his commandments, his decrees, and his statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.


that this is God, our God forever and ever. He will be our guide forever.


The Lord is my strength and my might, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.


The people all answered as one: “Everything that the Lord has spoken we will do.” Moses reported the words of the people to the Lord.


and said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, or we will die.”


Then he took the book of the covenant, and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”


Surely God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and my might; he has become my salvation.


This one will say, “I am the Lord's,” another will be called by the name of Jacob, yet another will write on the hand, “The Lord's,” and adopt the name of Israel.


And I will put this third into the fire, refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, “They are my people”; and they will say, “The Lord is our God.”


For last night there stood by me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship,


No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness.


and this, not merely as we expected; they gave themselves first to the Lord and, by the will of God, to us,


if you obey the voice of the Lord your God by keeping all his commandments that I am commanding you today, doing what is right in the sight of the Lord your God.


if only you will obey the Lord your God by diligently observing this entire commandment that I command you today.


Therefore obey the Lord your God, observing his commandments and his statutes that I am commanding you today.


to enter into the covenant of the Lord your God, sworn by an oath, which the Lord your God is making with you today;


If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I am commanding you today, by loving the Lord your God, walking in his ways, and observing his commandments, decrees, and ordinances, then you shall live and become numerous, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.


Take good care to observe the commandment and instruction that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, and to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”


Then Joshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the Lord, to serve him.” And they said, “We are witnesses.”
