Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear,


You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.


I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people,


who do not lend money at interest, and do not take a bribe against the innocent. Those who do these things shall never be moved.


Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High.


My vows to you I must perform, O God; I will render thank offerings to you.


So I will always sing praises to your name, as I pay my vows day after day.
