The Lord said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your plea, which you made before me; I have consecrated this house that you have built, and put my name there forever; my eyes and my heart will be there for all time.


until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive oil and honey, that you may live and not die. Do not listen to Hezekiah when he misleads you by saying, The Lord will deliver us.


But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, and they did not stop them until a report reached Darius and then answer was returned by letter in reply to it.


Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,


The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.


You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with richness.


until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.


I will set my eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up, and not tear them down; I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
