For he stands at the right hand of the needy, to save them from those who would condemn them to death.


Then the glory of the Lord went out from the threshold of the house and stopped above the cherubim.


Then the glory of the Lord rose up from the cherub to the threshold of the house; the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the glory of the Lord.


And the glory of the Lord ascended from the middle of the city, and stopped on the mountain east of the city.


So I rose up and went out into the valley; and the glory of the Lord stood there, like the glory that I had seen by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.


But as for me, I am filled with power, with the spirit of the Lord, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin.


So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.


So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked upward and said, “Father, I thank you for having heard me.


Isaiah said this because he saw his glory and spoke about him.


And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.


All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.

But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.


Therefore, friends, select from among yourselves seven men of good standing, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint to this task,


What they said pleased the whole community, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, together with Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch.


Stephen, full of grace and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.


For it is the God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.


He is the reflection of God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,


Now the main point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,


For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, my Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”


It has the glory of God and a radiance like a very rare jewel, like jasper, clear as crystal.
