“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”


From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”


and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.”


So they went out and proclaimed that all should repent.


No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish as they did.


No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish just as they did.”


Just so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”


Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.


for I have five brothers—that he may warn them, so that they will not also come into this place of torment.’


and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.


But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name.


Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.


All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”


When they heard this, they were silenced. And they praised God, saying, “Then God has given even to the Gentiles the repentance that leads to life.”


They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”


While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, now he commands all people everywhere to repent,


When this became known to all residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks, everyone was awestruck; and the name of the Lord Jesus was praised.


Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


And he testified with many other arguments and exhorted them, saying, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”

But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.


Some days later when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him speak concerning faith in Christ Jesus.


to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’


but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout the countryside of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God and do deeds consistent with repentance.


After they had set a day to meet with him, they came to him at his lodgings in great numbers. From morning until evening he explained the matter to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the law of Moses and from the prophets.


Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out,


Now after Peter and John had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, proclaiming the good news to many villages of the Samaritans.


I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish


For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.


because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.


Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?


but for ours also. It will be reckoned to us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,


Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,


For Jews demand signs and Greeks desire wisdom,


For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, but worldly grief produces death.


yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.


and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.


But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.


I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, and for this reason


For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, and I rejoice to see your morale and the firmness of your faith in Christ.


because I hear of your love for all the saints and your faith toward the Lord Jesus.


Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the parent loves the child.


Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
