the angel who has redeemed me from all harm, bless the boys; and in them let my name be perpetuated, and the name of my ancestors Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude on the earth.”


Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from hurt and harm!” And God granted what he asked.


The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.


For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his faithful ones. The righteous shall be kept safe forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.


You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me with honor.


But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me fresh oil.


The wicked are overthrown by their evildoing, but the righteous find a refuge in their integrity.


Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let anyone with ears listen!


Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;


And do not bring us to the time of trial, but rescue us from the evil one.


And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us. And do not bring us to the time of trial.”


“Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.


and I confer on you, just as my Father has conferred on me, a kingdom,


I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.


For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.


to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever! Amen.

Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters. Has not God chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and to be heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?


who are being protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.


To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.


For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
