I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.


On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands grow weak.


“What a weariness this is,” you say, and you sniff at me, says the Lord of hosts. You bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.


Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart.


to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;


When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who put all things in subjection under him, so that God may be all in all.


Therefore, since it is by God's mercy that we are engaged in this ministry, we do not lose heart.


So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.


The officials shall continue to address the troops, saying, “Is anyone afraid or disheartened? He should go back to his house, or he might cause the heart of his comrades to melt like his own.”


And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight


Finally, brothers and sisters, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus that, as you learned from us how you ought to live and to please God (as, in fact, you are doing), you should do so more and more.


Do not regard them as enemies, but warn them as believers.


Consider him who endured such hostility against himself from sinners, so that you may not grow weary or lose heart.


And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as children— “My child, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, or lose heart when you are punished by him;


I also know that you are enduring patiently and bearing up for the sake of my name, and that you have not grown weary.
