Remember that you fashioned me like clay; and will you turn me to dust again?


See, before God I am as you are; I too was formed from a piece of clay.


how much more those who live in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed like a moth.


The precious children of Zion, worth their weight in fine gold— how they are reckoned as earthen pots, the work of a potter's hands!


“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which someone found and hid; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.


And he said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a household who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”


I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!”


God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are,


For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.”


For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.


Therefore, since it is by God's mercy that we are engaged in this ministry, we do not lose heart.


For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.


as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.


even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ —by grace you have been saved—


Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the Gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ,
