but whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with him, he would take the veil off, until he came out; and when he came out, and told the Israelites what he had been commanded,


And he will destroy on this mountain the shroud that is cast over all peoples, the sheet that is spread over all nations; he will swallow up death forever.


On that day the deaf shall hear the words of a scroll, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.


All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the prosperity of your children.


No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.


Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord.


And even those of Israel, if they do not persist in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.


Indeed, to this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds;


when you obey the Lord your God by observing his commandments and decrees that are written in this book of the law, because you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.


In your distress, when all these things have happened to you in time to come, you will return to the Lord your God and heed him.
