In his days King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came up; Jehoiakim became his servant for three years; then he turned and rebelled against him.


The sons of Josiah: Johanan the firstborn, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.


Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king to succeed his father Amaziah.


But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon; and the people of the land made his son Josiah king to succeed him.


and his acts, first and last, are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.


Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he began to reign; he reigned three months in Jerusalem.


For thus says the Lord concerning Shallum son of King Josiah of Judah, who succeeded his father Josiah, and who went away from this place: He shall return here no more,


She raised up one of her cubs; he became a young lion, and he learned to catch prey; he devoured humans.
