As for yourself, you shall go to your ancestors in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.


Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.


Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my earthly sojourn are one hundred thirty; few and hard have been the years of my life. They do not compare with the years of the life of my ancestors during their long sojourn.”


When David was old and full of days, he made his son Solomon king over Israel.


When they had finished, they brought the rest of the money to the king and Jehoiada, and with it were made utensils for the house of the Lord, utensils for the service and for the burnt offerings, and ladles, and vessels of gold and silver. They offered burnt offerings in the house of the Lord regularly all the days of Jehoiada.


And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, and for God and his house.


Jehoiada got two wives for him, and he became the father of sons and daughters.


You shall come to your grave in ripe old age, as a shock of grain comes up to the threshing floor in its season.


The days of our life are seventy years, or perhaps eighty, if we are strong; even then their span is only toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.


With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation.
