Then he said to his sons, “Saddle a donkey for me.” So they saddled one,


The prophet took up the body of the man of God, laid it on the donkey, and brought it back to the city, to mourn and to bury him.


You shall drink from the wadi, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”


The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the wadi.


and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stopped’?


Because the king's command was urgent and the furnace was so overheated, the raging flames killed the men who lifted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.


And fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.


They came forward and carried them by their tunics out of the camp, as Moses had ordered.


Suddenly there was an earthquake, so violent that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were unfastened.
