Then David's anger was greatly kindled against the man. He said to Nathan, “As the Lord lives, the man who has done this deserves to die;


David answered Rechab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, “As the Lord lives, who has redeemed my life out of every adversity,


King David answered, “Summon Bathsheba to me.” So she came into the king's presence, and stood before the king.

Then I will send the boy, saying, ‘Go, find the arrows.’ If I say to the boy, ‘Look, the arrows are on this side of you, collect them,’ then you are to come, for, as the Lord lives, it is safe for you and there is no danger.
