Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you pasture your flock, where you make it lie down at noon; for why should I be like one who is veiled beside the flocks of your companions?


His speech is most sweet, and he is altogether desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.


Let me sing for my beloved my love-song concerning his vineyard: My beloved had a vineyard on a very fertile hill.


Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;


“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.


They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.”


Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.


If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not have sin. But now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.


He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you.


Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now I am here. I did not come on my own, but he sent me.


They went to the chief priests and elders and said, “We have strictly bound ourselves by an oath to taste no food until we have killed Paul.


For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my own people, my kindred according to the flesh.


Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says “Let Jesus be cursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit.


For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.


Grace be with all who have an undying love for our Lord Jesus Christ.


Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.


For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.


Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy,


To you then who believe, he is precious; but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the very head of the corner,”


We love because he first loved us.


Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the parent loves the child.


The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
