1 Corinthians 15:54 - New Revised Standard Version

54 When this perishable body puts on imperishability, and this mortal body puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will be fulfilled: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces, and the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.


Indeed they cannot die anymore, because they are like angels and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.


and they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles.


to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;


Therefore, do not let sin exercise dominion in your mortal bodies, to make you obey their passions.


If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.


For while we live, we are always being given up to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may be made visible in our mortal flesh.
