You fools! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?


But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’


Then he said to them, “Oh, how foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have declared!


Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.


Claiming to be wise, they became fools;


And as for what you sow, you do not sow the body that is to be, but a bare seed, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.


Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise,


Do you want to be shown, you senseless person, that faith apart from works is barren?
