Your people will offer themselves willingly on the day you lead your forces on the holy mountains. From the womb of the morning, like dew, your youth will come to you.


Whatever the Lord pleases he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.


declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, “My purpose shall stand, and I will fulfill my intention,”


Then they cried out to the Lord, “Please, O Lord, we pray, do not let us perish on account of this man's life. Do not make us guilty of innocent blood; for you, O Lord, have done as it pleased you.”


At that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the intelligent and have revealed them to infants; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.


“Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.


For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.


We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith;


All these are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses.


If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?


If all were a single member, where would the body be?


whereas our more respectable members do not need this. But God has so arranged the body, giving the greater honor to the inferior member,


And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers; then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues.


But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body.


What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigned to each.


He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will,


he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,


“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
