To the woman he said, “I will greatly increase your pangs in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”


This is the list of the descendants of Adam. When God created humankind, he made them in the likeness of God.


Whoever sheds the blood of a human, by a human shall that person's blood be shed; for in his own image God made humankind.


You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet,


A good wife is the crown of her husband, but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones.


But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the husband is the head of his wife, and God is the head of Christ.


For if a woman will not veil herself, then she should cut off her hair; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, she should wear a veil.


As for Titus, he is my partner and co-worker in your service; as for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.


With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse those who are made in the likeness of God.
