He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.”


You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.


But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me, to show my holiness before the eyes of the Israelites, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”


“Let Aaron be gathered to his people. For he shall not enter the land that I have given to the Israelites, because you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.


For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, died, was laid beside his ancestors, and experienced corruption;


Then he knelt down and cried out in a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he died.


For all who eat and drink without discerning the body, eat and drink judgment against themselves.


But if we judged ourselves, we would not be judged.


But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.


Listen, I will tell you a mystery! We will not all die, but we will all be changed,


For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died.


I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
