Dibon has gone up to the temple, to the high places to weep; over Nebo and over Medeba Moab wails. On every head is baldness, every beard is shorn;


Her towns will be deserted forever; they will be places for flocks, which will lie down, and no one will make them afraid.


therefore I will lay open the flank of Moab from the towns on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim.


And the Gadites rebuilt Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,


Nebo, and Baal-meon (some names being changed), and Sibmah; and they gave names to the towns that they rebuilt.
