Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.


tremble before him, all the earth. The world is firmly established; it shall never be moved.


When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy splendor, as they went before the army, saying, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.”


Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name.


Your people will offer themselves willingly on the day you lead your forces on the holy mountains. From the womb of the morning, like dew, your youth will come to you.


Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.


Ascribe to the Lord the glory of his name; worship the Lord in holy splendor.


Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.


May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts.


Long may he live! May gold of Sheba be given to him. May prayer be made for him continually, and blessings invoked for him all day long.


Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!


Honor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Worship the Lord in holy splendor; tremble before him, all the earth.

So you must make images of your tumors and images of your mice that ravage the land, and give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps he will lighten his hand on you and your gods and your land.
