Do not be far from me, for trouble is near and there is no-one to help.


I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.


Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.


As for me, I shall always have hope; I will praise you more and more.


I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.


Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.


And now the Lord says – he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honoured in the eyes of the Lord and my God has been my strength –


‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’


Have you not just called to me: “My Father, my friend from my youth,


But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased


always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
