Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendour, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.


Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you.


Amaziah asked the man of God, ‘But what about the hundred talents I paid for these Israelite troops?’ The man of God replied, ‘The Lord can give you much more than that.’


Who appointed him over the earth? Who put him in charge of the whole world?


Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me.


Will it keep begging you for mercy? Will it speak to you with gentle words?


for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.


If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.

To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.
