‘I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.’


Lord, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call!


The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.


My salvation and my honour depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.


But the king will rejoice in God; all who swear by God will glory in him, while the mouths of liars will be silenced.


Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvellous deeds.


Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.


The King is mighty, he loves justice – you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right.


and asked, ‘Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.’


fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
