but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the Lord, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.’


Put on sackcloth, you priests, and mourn; wail, you who minister before the altar. Come, spend the night in sackcloth, you who minister before my God; for the grain offerings and drink offerings are withheld from the house of your God.


Grain offerings and drink offerings are cut off from the house of the Lord. The priests are in mourning, those who minister before the Lord.


Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave behind a blessing – grain offerings and drink offerings for the Lord your God.


‘ “If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it is to consist of the finest flour: either thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in or thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with olive oil.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.


For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
