The Israelites ate manna for forty years, until they came to a land that was settled; they ate manna until they reached the border of Canaan.


Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse: “May the Lord treat you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned in the fire.”


I will set my face against them and make them an example and a byword. I will remove them from my people. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
