For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.


That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake.


Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, ‘Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.’


And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.


When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.


A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.’


Jesus turned and saw her. ‘Take heart, daughter,’ he said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed at that moment.


As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’


Then he touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you’;


and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?’


Then Jesus said, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?’


He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed
