You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways. But when we continued to sin against them, you were angry. How then can we be saved?


Then those who were in the boat worshipped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’


they love to be greeted with respect in the market-places and to be called “Rabbi” by others.


Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.’


When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted.


So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.


The angel went to her and said, ‘Greetings, you who are highly favoured! The Lord is with you.’


Then they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.


As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.


Then Mary took about half a litre of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.


On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you!’


Thomas said to him, ‘My Lord and my God!’


Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.


I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars – I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.
