And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.’


The Lord says to my lord: ‘Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.’


When you appear for battle, you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and his fire will consume them.


If then David calls him “Lord”, how can he be his son?’


‘You have said so,’ Jesus replied. ‘But I say to all of you: from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.’
