Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.


He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them,


A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough.


He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.


From there we put out to sea again and passed to the lee of Cyprus because the winds were against us.
