He warned them not to tell others about him.


Then Jesus said to him, ‘See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.’


and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, ‘See that no-one knows about this.’


He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.


Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it.


He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spat on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, ‘Do you see anything?’


Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
