Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf.


They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so that they cannot see, and their minds closed so that they cannot understand.


Perhaps when the people of Judah hear about every disaster I plan to inflict on them, they will each turn from their wicked ways; then I will forgive their wickedness and their sin.’


Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear:


‘Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.


Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don’t you remember?


He said, ‘The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘ “though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.”


Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,


But to this day the Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear.


Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,


and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
