Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendour, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb.


The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;


saying to them, ‘Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no-one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here.


They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it,


He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.’


Then they prayed, ‘Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen


You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.


And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.


For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
