He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.


Take me away with you – let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you!


Then he said to me: ‘Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, “Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.”


‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: this is Jerusalem, which I have set in the centre of the nations, with countries all around her.


in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.
