‘His master replied, “I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow?


The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’


The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.


For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.


For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.


There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
