During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven


Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:


The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.


The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message.


and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.

Then Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, and the leaders returned to Canaan from their meeting with the Reubenites and Gadites in Gilead and reported to the Israelites.
