When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.


Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.


Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus travelled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.


The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, ‘Follow me.’


Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptising in the early days. There he stayed,


Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the people of Judea. Instead he withdrew to a region near the wilderness, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples.


What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.


After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them, and baptised.


He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no-one accepts his testimony.


When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death.


After this, Jesus went around in Galilee. He did not want to go about in Judea because the Jewish leaders there were looking for a way to kill him.
