Then Abraham rose from beside his dead wife and spoke to the Hittites. He said,


I want you to swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living,


‘Zebulun will live by the seashore and become a haven for ships; his border will extend towards Sidon.


and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, ‘She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.’


They went to Gilead and the region of Tahtim Hodshi, and on to Dan Jaan and around towards Sidon.
