You have established your people Israel as your very own for ever, and you, Lord, have become their God.


But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.


Obey the Lord your God and follow his commands and decrees that I give you today.’


And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones you have set up.’
