Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!


‘After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year.


He said to me, ‘It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.’


For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?


But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.
