And the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it.’


or this time I will send the full force of my plagues against you and against your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no-one like me in all the earth.


They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.


the Philistines were afraid. ‘A god has come into the camp,’ they said. ‘Oh no! Nothing like this has happened before.


Be strong, Philistines! Be men, or you will be subject to the Hebrews, as they have been to you. Be men, and fight!’
