Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of him who practices wickedness.


because I have borne reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.


I will bear the fury of Jehovah, because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my cause and brings out judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness.


And they made one who was passing by, Simon a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear His cross.


And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me, he cannot be My disciple.


And He also spoke a parable to them to teach it is always right to pray, and not to faint,


By your patience you will gain your souls.


And answering, Simon said to Him, Master, we have toiled all the night and have taken nothing. Yet at Your word I will let down the net.


But those on the good ground are the ones who, in an honest and good heart, having heard the Word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience.


But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.


rejoicing in hope, patient in affliction, steadfastly continuing in prayer,

indeed to those who with patience in good work are seeking for glory, and honor, and incorruptibility, everlasting life.


But if we hope for that which we do not see, then we wait for it with patience.

See that you also submit to such ones, and to everyone working and laboring with me.

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father,


For, brothers, you remember our labor and toil. For laboring night and day in order not to put a burden on any one of you, we preached the gospel of God to you.


And, brothers, we beseech you to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and who admonish you,


But you, brothers, do not be weary in well doing.


And may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

For to this we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the preserver of all men, especially of those who believe.


Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in Word and doctrine.


For you have need of patience, so that after you have done the will of God you might receive the promise.


Therefore since we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
