Psalm 74:1

And I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies. And they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies,


Why do You stand afar off, O Jehovah? Will You hide in times of trouble?


Know that Jehovah, He is God. He has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.


A smoke went up out of His nostrils, and fire devoured out of His mouth; coals were kindled by it.


Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God; for I still praise Him, the salvation of my face, and my God.


I will say to God my rock, Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the cruelty of the enemy?


Now You have cast us off, and have shamed us, and You do not go forth with our armies.


A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, Jehovah, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down.


To the Chief Musician. On the Lily of Testimony. A secret treasure of David, to teach; when he struggled with Aram-naharaim and with Aram of Zobah, when Joab returned and struck twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt. O God, You have cast us off, You have scattered us, You were angry; take us back.


Have not You, O God, cast us off? And will You, O God, not go out with our armies?


Will the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more?


Is His mercy gone forever? Has His Word failed for all generations?


An instruction of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law; bow down your ears to the words of my mouth.


Then we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture, will give You thanks forever; we will show forth Your praise to all generations.


How long, O Jehovah? Will You be angry forever? Shall Your jealousy burn like fire?


You feed them with the bread of tears; and give them tears to drink in great measure.


Will You not give us life again, so that Your people may rejoice in You?


For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today if you will hear His voice,


And Moses prayed to Jehovah his God, and said, Jehovah, why does Your wrath become hot against Your people whom You have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?


But now, O Jehovah, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our Former; and we all are the work of Your hand.


Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture, says Jehovah.


So says Jehovah, If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be searched out, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says Jehovah.


unless You have utterly rejected us; You are very angry against us.


And you My sheep, the sheep of My pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Jehovah.


As I live, says the Lord Jehovah, surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock,


Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.


Jehovah will not be willing to forgive him, but then the anger of Jehovah and His jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie on him, and Jehovah shall blot out his name from under heavens.
