Let not those who are my lying enemies rejoice over me, those who hate me without cause wink with the eye.


For evils without number have hemmed me in; my sins have taken hold on me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails me.


For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul; the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.


My eye is dim because of grief; it wastes away because of all my enemies.


But that the Word might be fulfilled that is written in their Law, "They hated Me without a cause."


For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.


He who did no sin, nor was guile found in His mouth,


He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.


For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;
