And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, the God of my master Abraham, who has not left my master destitute of His mercy and His truth. Jehovah led me, I being in the way to the house of my master's brothers.


And it happened when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she received favor in his sight. And the king held out to Esther the golden scepter in his hand. And Esther drew near and touched the top of the scepter.


And the king said to Esther at the banquet of wine, What is your petition that it shall be granted to you? And what is your request? It shall be performed even to half of the kingdom.


And the king said again to Esther on the second day of the banquet of wine, What is your petition, Queen Esther, that it may be granted you? And what is your request? And it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.


For this let every godly one pray to You, in a time when You may be found; surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near him.


To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your loving-kindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.


He shall call on Me, and I will answer Him; I will be with Him in trouble; I will deliver Him, and honor Him.


He has remembered His mercy and His truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of Jehovah.


So says Jehovah, in a favorable time I replied to You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You; and I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause them to inherit the wasted inheritances;


Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.


Behold their sitting down and their rising up; I am their song.


You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.


to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant,


And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.


(For He says, "In an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of salvation, I helped you;" Behold, now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.)


For Jesus, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong cryings and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared,


who when He was reviled did not revile in return. When He suffered, He did not threaten, but gave Himself up to Him who judges righteously.


Ask your young men, and they will tell you. And let the young men find favor in your eyes, for we come in a good day. Please give whatever comes to your hand to your servants and to your son David.
