To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long will You forget me, O Jehovah? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?


Jehovah is my strength, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock; I will trust in Him; He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.


A Psalm of David. I will cry to You, O Jehovah; my Rock, do not be deaf to me, lest, if You be silent to me, I become like those who go down into the pit.


I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.


For You are the God of my strength; why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning under the affliction of the enemy?


from the voice of the enemy, from the oppression of the wicked, for they shake trouble over me, and in wrath they hate me.


He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my tower; I shall not be greatly moved.


Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? Selah.


And they remembered that God was their rock, and the Most High God was their redeemer.


My eye mourns because of affliction; O Jehovah, I have called daily on You; I have stretched out my hands to You.

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun. And behold the tears of the oppressed ones, and they had no comforter! And on the side of those who oppressed them there was power, but they had no comforter.


Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hidden from Jehovah and my judgment has passed over from my God?


Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.
