And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.


Hide not Your face from me in the day when I am in trouble; bow down Your ear to me; in the day I call, answer me quickly.


For my days go up like smoke, and my bones glow like a firebrand.


AYIN: I have done the just and right thing; leave me not to those who crush me.


To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long will You forget me, O Jehovah? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?


Hear me quickly, O Jehovah; my spirit fails; do not hide Your face from me, lest I be like those who go down into the Pit.


He shall receive the blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.


Why do You hide Your face, and forget our affliction and distress?


Cast me not away from Your presence, and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.


And hide not Your face from Your servant; for I am in trouble; hear me quickly.


Draw near my soul, and redeem it; deliver me because of my enemies.

But your iniquities have come between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing.
