If you prepare your heart and stretch out your hands toward Him;


As a servant earnestly desires the shadow, and as a hireling looks for his wages,


My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day, Where is your God?


If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god,


A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God; I will seek You earnestly; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You, as in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;


My soul longs, yea, even faints for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh shout for joy to the living God.


For will You do wonders to the dead? Shall the dead rise and praise You? Selah.


My eye mourns because of affliction; O Jehovah, I have called daily on You; I have stretched out my hands to You.


And Moses said to him, as soon as I go out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Jehovah. The thunder shall stop, and the hail will not be any more, so that you may know that the earth is Jehovah's.


And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land shall become springs of water in the home of jackals, in its lair, and a place for the reed and rush.


And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
