Yea, you cause anger to fall on the fatherless, and you dig a pit for your friend.


A prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed and pours out his complaint before Jehovah. Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and let my cry come to You.


then the waters would have flowed over us, the stream would have gone over our soul;


When my spirit fainted within me, then You knew my path. In the way in which I walked they have secretly laid a snare for me.


I looked on my right hand, and I watched, but no one recognized me; escape was lost to me; no man cared for my soul.
