Psalm 123:1

And You shall listen to the cry of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place, and hear in Heaven Your dwelling-place, and when You hear, forgive!


Jehovah is in His holy temple; Jehovah's throne is in Heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids examine the children of men.


But our God is in Heaven; He has done whatever He has pleased.


A Song of degrees. In my trouble I cried to Jehovah, and He heard me.


A Song of degrees. I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where shall my help come from?


A Song of degrees; of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.

So says Jehovah, Heaven is My throne, and earth My footstool. Where, then, is the house that you build for Me? And where is the place of My rest?


Therefore pray in this way: Our Father, who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name.


And standing afar off, the tax-collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but struck on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner!
